Thank you for visiting

THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY BLOGGER PLEASE COME AGAIN!!!!!!!

You can check out the following websites to find out even more websites.
Lily's blog

Mitochondria

The mitochondria converts energy to the cell when needed.

Example 1: I used a picture of the mitochondria to show the layers in which are in the mitochondria.

Example 2: I used batteries to show that like batteries that produce energy the mitochondria does the same.

ER

The ER produces ribosomes and collects and maintains things.

Example 1: For this example i used the smooth ER because it is much more simpler than the rough ER. You can see that that the circular holes are membranes.

Example 2: I used a picture of a collection of dolls because the person who collects the dolls maintains them and so does the ER.

Chloroplast

Chloroplast
Captures sunlight and uses it to produce glucose.
Cytoplasm
For the chloroplast I used a cherry blossom because it can photosynthesize like the chloroplast. And I used green food coloring because it colors the food like the chloroplast colors the plant cell.

Ribosomes

Ribosomes are little bumps that produce proteins.

Example 1:  In this picture i used a drawing to show what the ribosomes look like.

Example 2: I use brown rice because this is what the chinese use to make proteins in the body.

Fun Fact about ribosomes :
  1. ribosomes were once independent life forms

golgi apparatus

The Golgi Apparatus recieves materials from the ER and sends them to other parts of the cell.

Eample 1: I used this picture what the golgi apparatus looks like up close and this also another part of the of the plant cell and only the plant cell.

Example 2: I used a cell phone as the golgi apparatus because it recieves messages from the ER which in this case is the other person.

Fun fact about the golgi apparatus:
  1. Found in most eukaryotic cells.

Cytoplasm

Cytoplasm is a jelly like substance between the cell membrane and nucleus.
Example 1: I used the picture below to represent what the cytoplam looks like it doesn't matter what color and this can be found in both animal and plant cell.
Example 2: I used a chinese oriental jelly to represent the jelly like substance of the cytoplasm.

The Nucleolus

The Nucleolus produces ribosomes and RNA

Example 1: In this example I used this picture to show what the nucleolus looks like in the nucleus.

Example 2:  I used a chinese post truck because this is used to give out mail to the people in china.

nucleus

This is the nucleus, it directs and supervises all the cell activity.

Example 1: I used this picture above to show what the nucleus may look like inside the plant cell there other pictures to look up that are diffrent than this one, but this is the one I chose.

Example 2: I used a security room because it supervises what happens in stores, parking lots, and malls and can report what happens to others or buisness.

cell membrane

Cell Membrane
The cell membrane controls what goes in out the cell, unlike the nuclear membrane which controls what goes in and out the nucleus.

Example1:

I used this picture to show not just the cell membrane but also the other organelles.

Example2:
I used the  China Yunnan province Dali gate because it controls who goes in out of the gate.

cell wall

The first thing we are going to learn about this week is the cell wall.

Cell Wall: The cell wall is what protects and supports the cell. For this organelle I have used the chinese wall to represent the cell wall look at the photo below:

The chinese wall was built to protect the Chinese from Mongolians and other invaders.
fun fact abot the cell wall:
  1. prevents excessive uptake of water

what you are going to learn

For this week I will be teaching you about organelles in the plant cell, also I will be using pictures and examples for these things, also in the process they will all be based on chinese goods, cutlure, and resources.
